Surfer is abused while imprisoned at Doom’s castle. His board crashes through the walls and returns to him. He escapes
Sandman attacks the FF at the headquarters
Reed is sucked into the Negative Zone when he tries to use it to suck Sandman in who escapes
The other FF members arrive just as Crystal finally reunites with Johnny by teleporting with Lockjaw
The Inhumans take down a military testing site near their home
Crystal gets Triton’s help to rescue Reed
In the Negative Zone is an exiled being named Blaastaar for being too dangerous
He sees Triton and Reed heading towards Earth’s portal and follows them
Once on earth, Sandman and Blaastaar team up
They take out Reed and Triton and wreak havoc in the city
A climactic battle ensues as Torch and Blaastaar go blast for blast and Thing and Sandman face off
Reed puts a helmet on Blaastaar that nullifies his powers and sends him back to the NZ
Two explorers discover a hidden Kree base with a Kree sentry inside it which imprisons the two explorers in energy casing
3 of the FF minus Johnny decide to take a vacation to the South Pacific exactly to the island where the explosion discovered the Kree sentry
The sentry and the FF get into conflict
They cause a chain reaction that causes the island to explode
The FF escape with Lockjaw, Johnny, and Crystal and take the two explorers with them while Sentry 459 stays behind as that is its duty
A being called the Supreme Intelligence mentally communicates with the FF and tells them they will be judged by Ronan the Accuser for destroying the hidden Kree outpost and the sentry
Ronan lands on Earth, commanded to mete out execution to the FF
He teleports them all to him and tells them their crimes
He easily overpowers them with a large hammer called the Universal Weapon
A power struggle ensues inside a cave that Ronan encloses them all in
Ronan fails and teleports himself away from Earth
Alicia Masters is mysteriously whisked away by men of the Citadel of Science
There are 4 men- a doctor, a nuclear physicist, electrical engineer, and geneticist/biologist
The FF decide to look for her after realizing she’s been gone a long time
The men tell her they created a being known as Him and meant to be the perfect human
Because he’s too powerful and emits a light too bright, they recruited Alicia Masters so she may approach him, feel his face and sculpt a figure of him so the Citadel knows what he looks like
Alicia makes it to Him who is inside a cocoon and is about to be born and emerge
He says he hates the Citadel because he thinks they’re evil and only want to use him and control him
Him destroys Dr. Hamilton’s gun as he senses he’s about to use it
At the same time, the FF have arrived to the Citadel’s location looking for Alicia
The FF take her through their teleportation screen while Dr. Hamilton is dead
Him emerges out of his pocket dimension and brings down the Citadel crushing the remaining scientists while he teleports out
Him is muscular, with endowed looks and a golden body
A character named Psycho-Man uses an emotion machine to instill fear, doubt, and hate in people
He uses this as leverage against 3 lackeys- Livewire, Ivan, and Shellshock
Thing gets hit by a fear beam so he’s out of the way as Psycho-Man needed to retrieve a box mistakenly delivered to Alicia
Psycho-Man wants the component to complete his Psycho-Ray to affect the emotion of everyone in the world
Reed and Sue announce they’re going to have a baby
Black Panther and the Inhumans find Psycho-Man’s base in the Caribbean
Together with Thing and Sue they put a stop to Psycho-Man who was actually an avatar
Surfer senses the A.I. Quasimodo’s distress at wanting a physical body
Using cosmic powers, Surfer gives Quasimodo a body
Quasimodo begins wreaking havoc on the streets
Quasimodo is no match for Surfer as he engulfs Quasi in cosmic flames and turns him into a statue
A plot where a Dr. Santini has been called by Reed to help Ben because he can cure cosmic radiation
He is kidnapped by someone who wants to end the FF
He disguises himself as Santini and makes an adjustment to the operation that affects Ben’s mind
Ben thinks Reed tricked him and lashes out in rage
“Santini” is Mad Thinker
Thing is so consumed by rage that he chases Reed across the city forcing even plane to try and shoot him to stop him
Reed figures out it’s Mad Thinker’s machinations
Reed takes Thinker down in a fist fight and the real Santini is rescued
Thinker is imprisoned but Thing continues to battle with Reed and Johnny as Thinker sends an android to their location
Reed hits Thing with a menta-wave which brings him back to his senses. Thing takes out the android
It returns for Reed and is too powerful so Reed sends it into the NZ
Reed announces that he and Sue are out of the FF because it’s too dangerous for her
