Disillusioned and disheartened by the negative traits of the human race, Surfer decides the only course of action is destruction and begins to disrupt the natural order
The Watcher beckons Johnny, Thing, and Crystal to intervene
The Watcher brings Reed into the fray and General Ross is commissioned by the Pentagon to use the Sonic Shark against the Surfer which is a missile imbued with cosmic energy
The missile is launched which weakens and drains Surfer of his energy
The FF save his life and he has a change of heart about humans
A mix-up occurs where Doom tricks the FF that he switched bodies with Daredevil and has allied with Spiderman and Thor
Sue clears everything up by confirming Doom is in Latveria
Galactus sends The Punisher (robot) to Earth for Surfer to re-enter him into his service
Galactus aims for Earth because there are barren solar systems and he is starving
He needs Surfer so that Surfer can find him a suitable planet
Surfer has been shrunk to sub-atomic size in Reed’s lab and resides in the Microverse to hide from Galactus
Galactus makes Johnny, Reed, and Ben fight clones of themselves
They switch up their respective counterparts and beat them that way
Galactus tells them all he wants is the Surfer and returns the 3 of them to Reed’s lab where Surfer was seen last
Reed deduces Surfer must have gone sub-atomic when he spoke of worlds-within-worlds
Surfer encounters Psycho-Man while his android gets in the way of the FF
Galactus actually has no desire to destroy Earth and laments just as the Surfer reaches him in space
After Galactus is fed he returns Surfer to Earth so that he knows where he is at all times when Galactus goes hungry again
Psycho-Man lets the FF go back to Earth when they tell him Galactus is threatening it since the Microverse will be destroyed too
Wizard attacks the FF just after Reed turned Thing back into Ben for the I’ve-lost-count time
The 3 men defeat Wizard and his power gloves and promises to return
Reed is concerned when the doctor tells him his unborn child may be affected by the cosmic rays which mutated the FF
Once again Ben is put in a situation where he must become Thing again while on a date with Alicia to stop an android cronie belonging to Thinker
The FF help Wyatt Wingfoot and his tribe deal with Tomazooma the Living Totem which they believed to be a god but is actually a robot built by the Red Star Oil company to take the land
Reed, Johnny, and Ben go into the NZ as Reed gathers anti-matter to save Sue’s life
He discovers that Annihilus’s weapon, the Cosmic Control Rod is the perfect tool as it regulates energy
Annihilus immediately imprisons them when he’s alerted to their presence
Reed manages to get the CCR from him and puts some anti-matter energy in a vial
They make it out of the NZ and get to the hospital
Sue is safe and Reed and Sue have a boy
Wizard perfects his power gloves and prepares for the FF
Crystal is welcomed as the replacement for Sue in the FF after she proves much more than capable at handling Wizard single-handedly
