In a Lazarus facility in Nevada, Brainiac dismembers and mutilates a few Omega Men
He calls a meeting with the Brainiac collective looking for any info on Superman
One of the Brainiacs tell him that the red dust that Kal leaves behind has the same heat signature as Krypton
Brainiac obtains a piece of the Krypton meteor to see how it reacts with the red dust
Brainiac is also experimenting on Peacemaker Smith and bio-enhancing him
Jimmy Olsen and Agent Lane encounter Kal in Smallville, KS where he was raised
Kal is suddenly shot in the chest with a piece of the green meteor by Peacemakers
Olsen and Lane work together to move Kal to safety
An enhanced Smith starts beating up Kal and Sol tells Kal that what is weakening him is the irradiated meteor fragment that also caused Krypton’s destruction
As Smith is about to kill Kal, Brainiac shocks and stops him reminding him he wants him alive
Olsen calls for Omega Men who teleport Kal out but leave Lane behind who is apprehended by Lazarus
Omega Prime and other Omega Men save Kal’s life
Ra’s Al Ghul personally speaks with Lane and reminds her that her father’s life is in his hands forcing her to continue working for him
The thing that saved Kal’s life was a Father Box and it showed him the world burning if Lazarus isn’t stopped
Kal and the Omega Men travel to Karachi, Pakistan to liberate protesters from Orangi for the massacre only to find them hanged
The Omega Men teleport to a Lazarus base in Greenland where they look for Olsen who Lane took so she could gather as much information on “Superman” as she could
Ra’s disposes of Smith himself after Kal won’t do it and even after Omega Prime tells him to do it
Omega Prime stabs Kal through the back and is revealed to be Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s
Brainiac attempts conditioning Kal’s mind to give in to hatred and rage
General Lane, Lane’s father, liberates her and Olsen. Lane stabs Brainiac through the back
Talia kills General Lane
Kal wakes up and chokes Brainiac until Sol is reactivated takes him, Olsen, and Lane to KS

He was left a box with a suit inside with the S symbol that symbolized the labor guild of Krypton
This is emotional for him because he ripped the symbol off feeling he was the son of nothing but he now knows he is the son Jor and Lara-El and Jonathan and Martha Kent
