Absolute Superman- Last Dust of Krypton

  • 9 million light-years from Earth, Krypton is a planet with a red atmosphere and sky

  • Its cities powered by lava, klerics of the science league work in them. They are the ruling class

  • At the bottom is the labor guild of which the protagonist’s parents are a part of

  • The mother (Lara-El) is a mechanic and the father (Jor-El) is an engineer and miner who mines red sunstone crystal

  • Laborers are known as people of steel amongst each other

  • The Els become laughingstock and lost the opportunity to be honored scientists after Lara wrote an essay criticizing Krypton’s lack of funding for interstellar exploration and Jor-El called out the government’s environmental recklessness

  • Jor-El has concerns about the instability of a mine and is proven right when green natural gas is leaked and disintegrates one of Jor-E'l’s coworkers even through the protective suit

  • These events happened during Earth’s Miocene period when apes began evolving

  • On Earth and in present day, mines in Brazil are continued to be forced to be mined despite the hazard of asbestos present

  • The owner of the mine is Lazarus Corp

  • Kal-El has been helping miners across the world mine for diamonds and is finally found by Lazarus and is to be taken in alive by order of the director

  • He’s taken into custody by Lazarus agent Lane who calls him “Superman”

  • The Lazarus Peacemakers fire at Kal-El thinking he’s going to hurt Lois and flies away with her cuffed to his hand

  • Kal-El wears an artificial intelligence suit called Sol which is designed to protect and advise him

  • After saving civilians, Lane fills out a report of her observations about Kal. She’s also attracted to the way he smells

  • She lets him go and he flies away

  • Lane enters a verbal report to the Brainiac system which changes and enters a completely different report assessing that Kal is an uncontrollable threat prompting her to write a report

  • Peacemaker Smith guns down civilians in retaliation after feeling the effects of Kal’s heat vision

  • Jor is declared a heretic after trying to proclaim his warning

  • While Lara breaks Jor out of prison, Kal realizes the ruling classes are fleeing Krypton because they do know it is doomed

  • Kal reveals he overheard his parents plan for all of them to leave the planet

  • The whole planet of Krypton finds out about the inevitability of Krypton’s destruction after Kal leaks it

  • Back on Earth in Orangi Town, Pakistan, agent Lane is attacked by the Omega Men

  • Kal intervenes and tells Lane to stop looking for him

  • One of the Omega Men named Jimmy Olsen who goes by Alpha believes Lane can be turned to their side after Omega Prime confronts him about hesitating to shoot her

  • Peacemaker Smith massacres civilians in Orangi after being frozen by Kal

  • Kal is determined to find Smith and make him pay

  • Six years ago Earth time, but back on Krypton, it is being destroyed and all the ships are brought down'

  • The ship carrying the Els and others is hit by a giant green fragment from within the planet. His parents die

  • What caused the planet’s destruction was an infestation of parasites that slowly destabilized for a million years

  • Kal no longer wants to find Smith for fear he might kill him

  • In the span of almost one year and a half (Earth standards), Kal has been travelling in space for 9 million light years after Krypton’s destruction

  • Kal crashes on Earth on a farm owned by an elderly couple named Jonathan and Martha Kent

  • Kal is a teenager when found

  • A neighboring farmer calls Lazarus Corp reporting immigration violation because Kal has no I.D, and is forced to fly away and go into hiding for 5 years

  • In the present agent Lane is at a nursing home looking for Martha Kent

  • The Brainiac system is in cahoots with the leader of Lazarus Ra’s Al Ghul who is planning something for Kal-El
