Marvel vs DC # 4

• The vagabond guarding the shining box realizes it is not the Red and Blue Ones who created the Amalgam Universe but actually the Living Tribunal and Spectre who are holding the reality together lest one universe should destroy the other which each of the brothers want

• Axel is transported to where Living Tribunal and Spectre are and his mind almost snaps but he’s able to use his abilities to get back to the vagabond. He explodes and tells Axel his name is Morty before he does

• Super-Soldier and Darkclaw happen across the alley where Axel is and Morty was and want to know what happened to Hyena who Axel threw into the glowing box

• He explains to them that he’s hidden the only remaining shards of the original Marvel and DC realities within them. They are the shards which Doctor Strangefate was looking for

• Axel gives Living Tribunal and Spectre access to the shards to restore the universes 

• The Amalgam universe is undone as it reverts to the two universes co-exisitng beside each other. Darkclaw and Super-Soldier have been unfused to become Batman and Captain America again

• LT and Spectre stare in awe as they watch the power struggles between the Brothers

• Axel takes Batman and Cap to the Brothers where Axel explains it isn’t a geographical, physical location but more an altered state of consciousness 

• LT and Spectre barely have any influence on the Brothers. They are the guardians of the Marvel and DC universes whereas the Brothers are the VERY PERSONIFICATION of said universes

• The Brothers see the personal lives of Batman and Cap and their amazing personal journeys and then stare at each other for billions of years until they speak to each other and say “you’ve done well”

• The Brothers reset time back billions of years just before the Struggle but the heroes still remember what transpired and are very humbled 

• Axel aka Access, who knows the whole truth, rejects it in favor of discovering other universes for that is his power
