Amazing Adventures 11 begins with Hank Mccoy apparently now a black-furred beast-like creature
Hank leaves the X-men to go and work for the Brand Corporation to study genetic mutation and learn more about his mutation
Through an experiment gone wrong, Hank mutates further
Hank’s girlfriend Linda Donaldson is a double-agent who executes Professor Carl Maddicks, another spy, for failing to obtain Hank’s work
In Amazing Adventures 12, Hank is hunted by the guards
He tries to stay as hopeful and optimistic as possible and retains his personality
Tony Stark comes to visit Brand, intrigued by genetic research
Tony’s girlfriend Marianne Rodgers has an intuition about Linda which makes Tony want to visit Brand as Iron Man
He encounters Hank and they scuffle. Hank loses control of himself in a savage rage and kills Iron Man
It turns out to have been an illusion created by Mastermind who is with Blob and Unus hoping to recruit Hank into a new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants
They begin exploiting Hank who can’t remember what happened before
Captain Buzz Baxter of Air Force security investigates Brand and the ‘beast’ that’s been attacking it
Once Hank remembers the Brotherhood, he foils their plans and leaves them for the authorities
In Marvel Team-Up 4, the X-men think that that Spiderman has kidnapped a Professor Hans Jorgensen who Prof X knows
The professor also has ties to Morbius who is actually the one who kidnapped him to have him help Morbius transform back to his former self
Spiderman is on the verge of death after the formula that he took in the Six Arms Saga and is seeking Jorgensen as well to save his life
The X-men and Spiderman team up against Morbius and Jorgensen is able to save Spiderman
Spiderman thanks the X-men
The stories of Hank Mccoy (who by now is known as The Beast) continue in Amazing Adventures 14
Hank makes amends with Iron Man
An impostor ‘Beast’ who is actually the android Quasimodo is after Hank’s life force to become more human and mentions being affiliated with Mastermind and an Agent 9 who is actually Linda
Quasimodo kills himself after failing
Seeing through the press that there’s commotion at Brand, Angel heads there to check upon Hank and helps him devise an alibi to get Captain Baxter off his back. Angel returns to the X-men to tell them all that’s happened to Hank
In Amazing Adventures 16, Beast has an encounter with Juggernaut, who is defeated
In Incredible Hulk 161, Hank and a former peer named Vern head north into Canada from Vermont for an important mission
Vern takes Hank to Mimic who’s mutation has grown stronger and absorbs any superpowered person’s abilities in increasing vicinities as well as their life force
The Hulk is being affected by Mimic’s ability and is seeking him out
Mimic sacrifices himself to save Hank and the world by absorbing the gamma radiation from Hulk’s body. Hulk regains his strength and leaves
