Wolverine Origins 8- Seven The Hard Way
Logan approaches Bruce Banner in hopes of recruiting Hulk to his cause, but when Banner refuses because he wants to stay low, Logan slaps him trying to provoke him. This in turn brings Hulk’s son Skaar out who kicks Wolverine into the next state
After being chased by cops who work for Romulus, Skaar intervenes and approaches Wolverine with Bruce who’s changed his mind
Bruce is concerned that his son will only use his strength for destruction unless he’s taught that it can be used for good or pointed towards something bad. Wolverine promises Bruce that Romulus is the perfect target
Wolverine has a secret agenda and is following a plan devised by someone else so that Romulus cannot predict what he is up to
He approaches Kenuicho Harada aka Silver Samurai and wants him to retrain him on his swordplay because it’s been too long
Romulus has Dagger kidnapped and forces a man to physically interrogate her on what Wolverine’s game is. He kidnapped her because he somehow knows Cloak and Wolverine are scheming something
The interrogator has Dagger call Cloak and the call is traced. Wolverine and Cloak barge into the location and Wolverine puts Victor Hudson (Dagger’s kidnapper) down for good with the Muramasa
Cloak tells Dagger that it isn’t really Logan’s past that haunts him, it’s his future
Cloak and Dagger and Wolverine break a woman named Ruby Thursday out of the Raft. She wears a red outfit and has a red sphere where her head should be
The Raft calls in for a heavy-hitter from Osborn’s Dark Avengers and Skaar appears pretending to be the emissary to cover Logan’s party’s escape until the real heavy-hitter appears- Ares
Ares and Skaar slug it out until Wolverine reminds Skaar it’s what Hulk would want and do which snaps Skaar out of it
Romulus gets to Ruby and coerces her into betraying Logan and what his plan is by threatening her daughter
Cloak places her back in prison
Logan tells Cloak, Skaar, Banner, and Silver Samurai that the whole plan belonged to some small-time villain known as The Answer and it became a bust after Ruby spilled. It’s revealed that Logan had a backup plan completely in secret that no one else knew about and one absolutely no one would suspect- Deadpool
