Spectacular Spiderman 75

• The story begins with Black Cat telling Spiderman that she has stolen an activator for a bomb from the Kingpin that Doc Ock is after

• The Owl and Doc Ock are currently in a power struggle to obtain the activator- Owl wants it to blackmail NYC and Ock wants it to merely obliterate the city

• Ock attacks Black Cat and Spiderman and takes her and the activator with him

• Tipped off by the Kingpin, Spiderman heads to the Aerie, Owl’s base where Doc Ock attacks

• A 4-way power struggle ensues as Ock takes Owl and Black Cat down

• After slamming her against the wall multiple times, Black Cat is clinging to life and Spidey goes into a rage and pulls all 4 of Doc Ock’s arms off while also thwarting his plan

• Doc Ock develops arachnophobia from this encounter
