The origin story of Doctor Doom
Doom’s homeland is a country called Latveria where he is the monarch
There he was raised as a Gypsy/Romani which is his ethnicity
Victor and his father flee their home when the Baron of Latveria demands his father to heal his wife with magic and fails
His father dies and proclaims a warning to protect something just before he passes
Victor thinks it is him he’s talking about but his father’s friend Boris knows he speaks of protecting Earth against Victor since he bears the same magic blood that his mother bore who died during Victor’s infancy
Doom becomes adept at magic and technology over the years
He is offered a place at Empire State University where he meets Reed Richards and Ben Grimm
Doom works on experiments in his room which Reed warns him about that the calculations are off. Doom does not listen to Richards and the experiment blows up in Doom’s face
He seeks out Tibetan monks and black magic/sorcery. He has them forge a metal mask which he dons and renames himself Doctor Doom
Rama-Tut meets Doom in space and Rama he’s Doom’s descendant because he uses the same time machine that Doom built
Doom theorizes that they are one and the same
Rama suggests teaming up with up with Doctor Doom against the FF but Doom suggests it’s too risky and Tut returns to his time
The FF thwart Doom once more using illusion
Sue is hurt after being rescued from Mole Man and needs a surgeon to perform- the surgeon is Sue’s own father who Johnny and Sue thought dead and Reed never knew existed
He is apprehended after saving her life and incarcerated, which he escaped from before
A strange being from space arrives on Earth and replaces him and sends him to space
The story of Franklin Storm is that he lost his wife in a car accident and after trying to save her through surgery and failing, lost his way and began gambling then committed involuntary manslaughter when he confronted a loan shark with a gun
Sue and Johnny visit him in prison and notice something is different
He escapes with invisibility and super-strength and calls himself the Invincible Man
The Invincible Man turns out to be Super-Skrull
Super-Skrull is defeated and the Skrulls return Franklin Storm to Earth but at the cost of his life by hitting him with a beam
Lady Dorma, Namor’s lover, tells the FF about Attuma, a being who desires to usurp the throne from Namor
Dorma neglectfully assisted Attuma in an invasion because of the way Namor treated her and asks the FF to help Namor after regretting it
Attuma goes to war with Namor
Namor does not know the FF helped him turn the tide
Namor banishes Attuma and his followers from Atlantis
A multi-billionaire named Gregory Gideon is challenged by other billionaires to take out the FF in a week and they will sell their companies to him
He gets the FF to turn on each other
His plan was sending the FF to the past using their time machine but when his son becomes involved, he comes back to his senses, abandons the plan, and embraces his family while renouncing his fortune
Diablo returns and brings to life a biological experiment belonging to a Professor Gilbert at Empire State University
Professor Gilbert calls it Dragon Man
It is very strong and can breathe fire
The FF realize Dragon Man isn’t bad and reach his better conscience. Dragon Man submerges with Diablo into a pond and are sucked by its currents. Their fates are unknown
Reed and Sue announce their engagement
The Wizard, Trapster, Sandman, and a woman who can control the movement of her hair called Medusa, come together and become the Frightful Four
They attack the FF who turn the tables
The FF head to space to confront the Skrull who murdered Franklin Storm
The Skrull in question is Morrat
Morrat is defeated by the FF and is then stripped of his rank by warlord by the Skrull king for finding out Morrat never intended to hand them over to him
After sentencing Morrat to death, the king’s daughter Anelle jumps in the way
The king thinks she was blasted but she was saved by Sue’s force field while Morrat was still blasted. The king is reluctantly grateful to Sue
The king reveals it was Morrat’s ambition to conquer Earth and his alone
The FF receive closure for Franklin’s death through Morrat’s own
The FF practise a wedding rehearsal once they’re back home
The Frightful Four kidnap Sue
The FF rescue her and the Frightful Four escape again
The FF are picked up at sea from the island they saved Sue from, unconscious, by a submarine
When they come to they realize they’ve lost their powers
Reed devises a way to give themselves powers artificially
Doom finds out he was defeated by the FF through trickery when a hypnotist removes the spell
Reed appoints Matt Murdock power of attorney to give his scientific notes to the government
Doom attacks the FF at their headquarters. Daredevil arrives to help
He manages to snuff the FF out of the Baxter building and use their equipment and weapons against them
The FF and Daredevil infiltrate the Baxter Building again
They manage to get their powers back and Thing goes tete-a-tete with Doom
Reed stops Thing from killing Doom since he broke his pride already by shattering Doom’s armor
Ben decides he no longer wants to be part of the FF
