A character known as Hate-Monger is preaching hate on the streets
He uses a hate-ray on the FF who turn on each other
Nick Fury helps the FF break out of their conditioning and together they stop the Hate-Monger in South America who planned to blanket the planet with hate-rays
They unmask him to discover it is Adolf Hitler himself
Sue discovers that she can create force fields or invisible energy along with becoming invisible
She can also make other things invisible but cannot be invisible at the same time and vice versa
The FF go to an island to find more space where Reed can work on his experiments
It was the Mole Man who had people complain about the experiments in the Baxter Building to lure the FF to his island
By dropping major European cities underground, Mole Man plans for the countries on either side of the Iron Curtain to blame each other and go to war
Sue puts a force field around the button that will cause the cities to drop to prevent Mole Man from pressing it
Mole Man traps each of the FF in their own boxes unique to canceling out their abilities
The FF manage to escape and flee quickly as they re-wire the button’s circuitry to sink Mole Man’s own island
While the FF has a typical day of bickering, Doctor Doom bails three felons out and gives them enhancements so they can help him take down the FF
To Handsome Harry, he increases his hearing to hear the Invisible Woman better
To Bull Brogin, he increases his muscles and to Yogi Dakor he makes him fireproof
The three villains track and capture their respective counterparts while Doom targets Mr. Fantastic
The four escape their clutches but Doom’s trump card is that he has them in a warehouse which is being hit by ionic dust particles from a solar wave which causes anything in the way to be transferred to space
Doom becomes a victim of his own trap and falls to space
The wave passes and the four are safe
The FF encounter the Infant Terrible who is basically an infant alien and can create mental constructs and alter reality by shrinking and enlarging objects as well as moving things with his mind and transporting any object or giving objects life
The FF stop some mobsters from taking advantage of it
Reed manages to beam a transmission to space that calls his parents and they take the infant with them
The FF battle Hulk in NYC. Hulk beats Thing in Round 1
The Hulk is hell-bent on finding the Avengers and beating them for replacing him with Captain America and thinking they stole his friend Rick Jones
The Avengers and FF get in each other’s way while trying to take down Hulk
Rick Jones turns Hulk back into Bruce Banner by popping a gamma pill into his mouth
Namor kidnaps Sue
Thing and Johnny contact Dr. Strange while Reed goes after Namor
Strange uses his astral form to witness Namor declaring his feelings for Sue
Reed and Namor fight
Strange transports Johnny and Thing to Namor where they battle his soldiers
Sue stops the fight and declares that she loves Reed
Strange teleports them out before Namor unleashes his rage
Puppet Master and Mad Thinker scheme together and use PM’s radioactive clay to mold a figure of Prof X to control him
They make Prof X command his X-men to attack the FF
They get into a fracas until Puppet Master and Mad Thinker reveal themselves
The FF and X-men team up against Awesome Android. Only Prof X can stop it by mental pressure on its weak points
The two villains escape and the FF and X-men make peace
The FF are attacked by Red Ghost and the Super-Apes again
Red Ghost takes them to the moon where he was defeated and strands them there without oxygen. Sue saves them with a force field
They make it to the Watcher’s sanctuary and use a matter transmitter to transport Red Ghost somewhere else in the galaxy
The Watcher returns them home
While on vacation in Transylvania, the FF stumble upon a castle which is the home of someone called Diablo
Diablo lures Thing to his castle and uses a potion that turns him handsome
He tricks him into servitude by telling him he can keep like that
The FF find out Diablo is a fraud and rescue Thing from Diablo
Diablo’s castle is brought down as he gets away
