What If Jane Foster Found Thor's Hammer? (Volume 1)
Dr. Donald Blake (Thor’s alter-ego) and nurse Jane Foster are in Norway together. In 616, Donald Blake was alone
While walking along they come across 3 Kronans (Stone Men of Saturn) who see the duo and wish to exterminate them to rid any witnesses of their plan to take over Earth
They run and try to hide. Blake has a cane already where in 616 he found a cane in a cave which he struck against the wall and became Thor
Here, Blake does not make it to the cave whereas Jane does in his stead and finds Thor’s cane
She becomes a female Thor and saves Blake from the Kronans. She goes by the name Thordis
Loki escapes his bounds on Asgard and disguises himself on Earth. He tries tricking Jane into giving him Mjolnir but she foils his plan
In 616, Thor did give Mjolnir to Loki followed by a long conflict but here Thordis simply throws him back to Asgard
By Loki’s suggestion, Odin summons Jane to Asgard much to everyone’s surprise when they see her
Angry at this turn of events, Odin banishes her back to Earth
She joins The Avengers
After Sif goes to Earth and has Blake fall in love with her, they and Thordis go to Asgard after a fight with Loki
After dealing with a monster named Mangog and punishing Loki by banishment, Odin has Thordis relinquish Mjolnir to Blake
Odin makes Jane a goddess for proving her worthiness but she is heartbroken because Thor now loves Sif
Odin proposes to her and makes her queen of Asgard
