Venom: Dark Origins

• A short re-visit/backstory on why and how Venom and Eddie Brock found solace with each other

• Brock was teased and picked on as a boy

• Gets fired from his job as a journalist after a lead he claimed was true was proven false. He claimed to know who the Sin-Eater was but Spiderman caught the true culprit

• Brock hates Spiderman and prays for his death in a church where Venom finds him  

• Venom bonded with Brock because it saw how vulnerable and helpless and weak he was in addition to its own hatred for Spiderman because he discarded it

• Brock now knows Spiderman’s identity because of Venom

• Spidey defeats them and they are detained in the Vault
