The Trial of Magneto
Mystique’s Brotherhood of Mutants now work for the government to apprehend mutant criminals. They now go by the name Freedom Force
Their first assignment is to apprehend Magneto who has recently begun to have a change of heart from his old ways
During his trial, he is attacked by the Strucker twins (Andrea and Andreas Von Strucker aka Fenris aka the children of Baron Von Strucker)
The X-men help defeat Fenris with Magneto and he is exonerated from his past crimes for helping save lives
As Prof X dies from premature wounds, he implores Magneto to take his place as leader of the X-men which he reluctantly does
