Reed’s body can now turn elastic and calls himself Mister Fantastic
Susan Storm gains the ability to go invisible and calls herself Invisible Girl
Johnny can combust his body into flame and calls himself the Human Torch
Ben Grimm’s physiology changes as his skin becomes orange rock. He is called The Thing
The FF take on their first mission together and investigate atomic plants falling into sinkholes worldwide
Monsters appear out of the holes and Mr. Fantastic theorizes he’ll find out what’s causing them at Monster Isle, an island in the geographical centre of all the sinkholes
They meet Mole Man
Because of his appearance, he took solace into the underground and became master of the monsters beneath
The FF stop Mole Man’s plan of world destruction
The FF detect and repel an invasion and takeover by shapeshifting Skrulls
FF put a stop to Miracle Man’s schemes
Johnny Storm finds an amnesiac Namor the Sub-Mariner in a homeless shelter
He attacks NYC in revenge for the inadvertent destruction of his kingdom underwater after regaining his memory
The FF manage to stop him
A man who goes by the moniker Doctor Doom drops a net over the Baxter Building, the FF hq
Reed explains that Doom was a man he once knew in college named Victor Von Doom who had a fascination for dark magic and sorcery
After an experiment of his went awry, his face became disfigured and was expelled. He was last heard to have gone to Tibet to continue practising sorcery
Doom takes Sue hostage
He tells the other 3 to obtain Blackbeard’s treasure and he’ll let Sue go
He transports the 3 back in time and they bring back a treasure chest with chains
They all escape Doom’s castle as Doom escapes himself
A failed team-up between Namor and Doom
The FF save an alien species from extinction by transferring them to a different planet and avoiding being struck by an asteroid save for Kurrgo, the master of Planet X, because of his lust for power
The FF cross paths with Puppet Master
The FF are in debt and cannot pay rent to the top portion of the Baxter Building which they live in
They are forced to break up and the news becomes public. Namor witnesses it on tv and devises a ruse
They receive a telegram about an opportunity to be actors in Hollywood
Namor is under pretense of being a movie producer and hired the FF offering them $1 million
He beguiles them by filming on islands and leaving them stranded there with various threats
His true plan is to take Sue for himself
He honors the payment he promised after the other 3 escape and thwart his plan as he returns to sea
Doom manages to switch minds with Reed
His plan is thwarted and he is shrunken to microscopic size with his own shrinking ray
