Kingpin targets Jameson because of the headlines targeting the mob
Kingpin uses Foswell to his advantage for his experience and wants him to whack Jameson
Spidey battles Kingpin who knocks him unconscious. He and Jameson are left to drown together
Spidey gets them out of their situation. He and Kingpin fight again
Foswell takes a bullet for Jameson and dies
Mysterio and Wizard turn Spiderman and Human Torch against each other. They are thwarted and left for the authorities
Spiderman thwarts one of Doc Ock’s schemes but loses his identity in the process
Ka-Zar is in NYC from the Savage Land. Jameson offers him a challenge to take down Spiderman
Ka-Zar and Spidey tango. Spidey falls into a pond and goes unconscious. Ka-Zar retrieves him
Spidey gains his identity again and Ka-Zar believes his innocence. Ka-Zar leaves
Jameson attempts to attack Spidey using Spencer Smythe’s Spider-Slayers again
Spidey finds Spencer’s lab and shuts the Spider-Slayer down
Captain George Stacy (Gwen Stacy’s father) is put under hypnosis by The Brainwasher
The Brainwasher turns out to be Kingpin
Kingpin has Captain Stacy commit crimes. Peter and Gwen become estranged as a consequence of this
Norman Osborn has fragmented memories of himself as the Green Goblin
Spiderman frees Captain Stacy from the brainwash machine and both he and Gwen from a vat of acid being poured on them
Spiderman is in Gwen’s good graces but Peter Parker is not
