The FF gain different powers in this reality. In this case Ben Grimm grows dragonlike wings from his back and calls himself Dragonfly. Johnny Storm is able to turn himself into an android and goes by Mandroid. Sue gains the original powers of Mr. Fantastic and dubs herself Ultra-Woman and Reed literally becomes a sentient brain going by the moniker Big Brain

The FF catch the attention of Dr. Doom who manages to get into the Baxter Building and beguiles Big Brain about helping him attain a body but instead traps him in a container and takes him and reveals his identity as Victor Von Doom

Mandroid tells Ultra-Woman and Dragonfly about Victor who Ben knows from college

Doom plans to use Big Brain’s mighty power to operate a time machine that will take him back in time and allow him to possess Blackbeard’s treasure and also make Big Brain into an absolute thinking machine

The other FF arrive and fight Doom. As Doom is beating on Ultra-Woman, Big Brain becomes agitated enough to mentally attack an exhausted Doom and tries to stop him from pressing a self-destruct button and doesn’t succeed but Big Brain survives in the body of Doom and takes on the new name, Mr. Fantastic
