Uatu the Guardian of the Starbrand Corps frames Hal Jordan for killing all members of the Corps when it was actually him

Speed Demon (resembling Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze and Barry Allen) saves Hal then kills him because he himself committed murders 

Wally West watches Speed Demon transform back into Blaze Allen at the Quentin Carnival where they live. Wally is Blaze’s nephew

Blaze tells the story of how he became Speed Demon to Wally. A demon took his wife Iris on their wedding day and sucked out her life force. Blaze then made a pact with the demon Etrigan and sold his soul to have vengeance

The being who took Iris is actually Night Spectre who takes the souls of the absolute pure or corrupt and has them work as slaves in his sanctum

As Speed Demon, he stops Night Spectre from collecting souls

Night Spectre hunts Harvey Osborn aka Green Goblin as he is the last soul he needs. Speed Demon saves him and when he looks at Harvey’s two-face he asks who did it to him, to which Harvey responds it was Darkclaw

Spectre takes Harvey with him to his realm where Speed Demon follows

A wizard-looking being tells Wally that Night Spectre once approached Blaze for his arcane abilities but Blaze refused therefore Spectre took his wife. The wizard is Merlin and offers Wally a chance to save his uncle 

Blaze begins separating from Speed Demon as Spectre begins to overpower him but just then, another Speed Demon attacks Spectre- it’s Wally

Speed Demon liberates the souls in Spectre’s hell

Back on Earth, all seems right but Blaze wonders, if he’s bonded to Etrigan, then who is bonded to Wally? It is Night Spectre
