Jimmy Urich lies about the event and reports in the Daily Planet that Super-Soldier won the war for the Allies. 50 years later, Jimmy is captured by Lex Luthor aka The Green Skull for lying and plans to kill him for it

Sharon Carter acts as Lois Lane’s stand-in at the Daily Planet where Kent works

Urich stumbles into the Planet all beaten where he tells Kent to be in D.C. at 4pm. There he meets Green Skull and Ultra-Metallo who was brought out from the ocean

Inside Metallo is a mineral known as Green K which prolonged Green Skull’s life and also plans to use it to blow D.C. It also disrupts the alien cells within Kent

Super-Soldier busts Metallo’s chest with a lead pipe which negates the Green K. He then apprehends Green Skull who’s K-bombs have permeated the world with their radiation. Urich redeems his lie by reporting Skull’s ties to Ultra-Metallo
