Thought to have been betrayed by a Frenchman, the Frenchman takes his mask off to reveal himself as Mademoiselle Peggy who infiltrated Castle Zemo where the prisoners are held

The Commandos take the fight to Zemo and are outmatched when Zemo’s soldiers use the War Wheel 

The end of the story shows Lex Luthor and Major Zemo leaving in a U-boat before the Commandos reach the sub-level where they launched from. Luthor plans to repower and use Ultra-Metallo
