Tells the story of Amazing Spiderman #100-102

Introduces the character Morbius the Living Vampire

Wanting a normal life again and to spend more time with his girlfriend Gwen Stacy and best friend Harry Osborn, Peter drinks a potion he’s worked on since the genesis of his spider abilities

Peter has a dream that night of many his villains trying to discourage him from being Spiderman. He then sees Captain Stacy (deceased) who tells him that with his powers he has responsibilities 

Peter wakes to find he now has 6 arms 

Peter calls Dr. Connors in the Everglades and tells him he’s got a problem similar to Connors’ lizard condition. Connors tells him he can stay at a house in Southampton on Long Island

Out on Long Island Sound, a crew on a boat are attacked by a man who changed from regular skin complexion in the day to a white-faced with red eyes demon-appearing creature at night and kills all of them

The man’s name is Morbius. He takes sanctuary in the same house Peter is staying at

Morbius attacks Spiderman who is unable to match him because of tirelessly working the last few days 

After seeing Morbius’ fangs, Spiderman calls him a vampire which Morbius never considered but accepts

Connors arrives at that precise moment and attempts to intervene but is attacked by Morbius and transforms into Lizard from the adrenaline

The two contest over who will kill Spiderman. Morbius defeats Lizard and flees to New York City to feed on its multitude of people. He bites Lizard before he leaves

Curt Connors changes halfway between man and lizard with his appearance taking on a man with scaly skin 

Since he is technically still partially in lizard form and lost his arm, Spiderman and Connors deduce that an enzyme from Morbius is what caused the change

With a chemical formula Spiderman devises, he and Connors set out to get an enzyme from Morbius so Spidey can be cured

Morbius’ origin story is told. He was a scientist named Michael Morbius who underwent shock-therapy mixed with vampire bat DNA to create blood cells in his body which were dissolving

The experiment took place at sea on a boat whereafter Morbius threw himself off from guilt of killing his friend Nikos. He is then saved by the boat at the beginning of the story

Connors and Spiderman manage to get Morbius and knock him out so that Connors can mix Morbius’ blood with the formula

After a chase and getting the formula back from Morbius who took it and fled and was knocked into water, Spiderman tried to save him but latched onto the formula instead with his webbing and thinks Morbius drowned

Connors reverts to normal from Lizard form and Spiderman’s arms disappear
