While Hulk is in combat with a creature known as Wendigo, a man in a blue and yellow costume and claws made out of adamantium attacks them

The man’s name is Wolverine

He takes Wendigo out first and knocks him unconscious 

Revealed that he’s been sent by Canadian military authorities to take the Hulk down

Hulk has also been unknowingly lured to where he currently is (Quebec, Canada) to take Wendigo down to save Wendigo’s sister and best friend, Marie Cartier and Georges Baptiste, the trouble of doing it themselves

They plan to transfer the curse of Wendigo into Hulk from her brother Paul Cartier

Using an incantation, they knock both Hulk and Wolverine out. After Hulk transforms back to Bruce Banner, Georges refuses with going through with it

After becoming Hulk again, he and Wolverine continue to fight while Marie hears a scream from a nearby cave where she and Georges placed the unconscious Wendigo

Marie rushes to the cave to find Wendigo up and walking and thinks her brother killed Georges but Georges performed the incantation which transferred the curse into himself. Paul is human again

As Georges loses his sanity and flees, Marie mourns his loss as Hulk comforts her after K.Oing Wolverine
