Peter Parker highly contemplates whether he should register with the Superhuman Registration Act or not

Both Aunt May and Mary Jane agree that Peter should register and reveal his identity 

Peter reveals his identity publicly as Spiderman 

J. Jonah Jameson is furious and sues Peter for fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of contract

Flash Thompson is bewildered 

Many of his enemies relish the new revelation while a few of the heroes are shocked or surprised

Peter is angry and confronts Iron Man about him publicly stating that he will use Spiderman’s help to hunt down the heroes who do not register because Peter was blindsided. Iron Man apologizes 

A superhero battle occurs in the Lower East Side in Manhattan near Yancy Street (Thing’s former stomping grounds)

Spidey and Captain America fight while Spidey is wearing the Iron Spider. The battle is even after which Cap leaves to help the other anti-reg heroes

His shield was left behind after Spiderman webbed it up after Cap missed hitting Spiderman with it. He places it higher where Cap will be able to reach it

Peter demands Tony Stark to show him Prison 42 in the Negative Zone which he reluctantly does 

Peter is appalled that even the heroes are kept in there for life simply for not registering unless they do

Tony justifies that you can’t have W.M.D.s in temporary incarceration and hard choices needed to be made

Mister Fantastic rationalizes that regardless whether the law is right or wrong, it must still be followed 

Peter switches sides and goes public about Prison 42 as well as openly opposing the Registration Act. Iron Man orders to have him brought in 

Captain America and Human Torch act quickly as Torch writes a message in flames above Peter’s house to contact him

Spidey finds Cap who tells him that America was founded on the principle of standing up for what you believe in no matter the odds or consequences. He tells him when world tells you to move, you plant your feet and say no you move

Kingpin hires an assassin to kill Peter

Captain America surrenders as MJ worries about Peter. As he arrives home and embraces MJ he senses and dodges a bullet saving MJ’s life but the bullet hits Aunt May
