Karen Page sells Daredevil’s secret identity as Matt Murdock to a henchman of the Kingpin for drugs

Kingpin begins turning Matt’s life upside down starting with taking his career away

Matt is framed by a cop named Nicholas Manolis who in turn was threatened by the Kingpin

Matt’s apartment is blown up

Matt confronts Kingpin, fights him, and loses badly

Kingpin attempts to finish the job by throwing Matt into a river in a cab with a whisky bottle in it to make it look like he did it himself. The news reports that Matt escaped due to no evidence of a body much to Kingpin’s dismay 

Ben Urich visits Manolis in the hospital where his son is dying and dies (Kingpin threatened to kill his son). As they both leave, the nurse, who is in the Kingpin’s pocket, maims them both as a warning not to talk

As Matt succumbs to his wounds and exhaustion after surviving Kingpin’s attempt on his life, he is found by a man and brought to a church

There he is taken care of by a nun who he suspects is his mother who lies when he asks her if she is and knows she is when he listens to her heartbeat. Her name is Maggie

As Manolis calls and confesses to Ben Urich from the hospital, the same nurse that tended to his son and maimed him, kills him this time

Kingpin’s men blackmail Melvin Potter to make a replica of the Daredevil suit for a lunatic from an asylum to impersonate DD and murder Foggy Nelson and Karen Page

DD stops the lunatic and reunites with Karen 

The nurse that killed Manolis comes forward to confess to Urich but is killed by Kingpin’s men. Ben survives

Kingpin hires Nuke to deal with Daredevil 

Nuke assaults Hell’s Kitchen and gets into a fight with Daredevil 

Daredevil narrowly beats Nuke and is then confronted by the Avengers to pass custody of Nuke over to them

Cap and Nuke meet for the first time and briefly scuffle. Kindred, as they are both subjects of Project Rebirth 

The scuffle happens when Nuke escapes captivity at a S.H.I.E.L.D. location. After Cap knocks him out, Nuke is shot at and seemingly killed by Kingpin’s men from a helicopter. In the confusion, Daredevil takes Nuke’s body to the Daily Bugle implicating and exposing Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin as a criminal
